Qi Gong

Qi gong is a collective name for various drills and techniques, designed for a variety of purposes- cultivating health and Qi energy, strengthening the muscles, flexening the tendons, improving breathing, sharpening mental abilities or developing power for combat.

Qi gongs can be exercised as useful supplement for a martial art (or, in some martial arts, a necessary basis) or as separate field, meant to improve one's life quality.

Zhan Zhuang and Lu's structure theory

Zhan Zhuang is a practice of Intent and Qi by holding a certain still posture for a long period of time. It's a basic practice in the internal martial arts.

Lu's structure theory is an ellaboration of the ancient Zhan Zhuang, based on the reaserch of famous Grandmaster Lu Zhong Ren on Song style XingYi Quan, Yin Yang BaGua Zhang and Yi Quan.
